5. True Detective
Get in here police procedural drama fans, this one’s for you. True Detective is an anthology crime drama, which means there’s a new set of characters and storylines in each season. The first season takes place in Louisiana and follows a pair of Louisiana State Police homicide detectives, and their pursuit of a serial killer over a 17-year period. The second season is set in California and focuses on three detectives from three cooperating police departments and a criminal-turned-businessman as they investigate a series of crimes they believe are linked to the murder of a corrupt politician. The third season takes place in the Ozarks over three separate time periods, as two state police detectives investigate a macabre crime involving two missing children. 6. Leaving Neverland
Micheal Jackson is in the spotlight again but for all the wrong reasons in this 2-part docuseries, as accusers, James Safechuck and Wade Robson share their alleged encounter of sexual abuse at the hands of the legendary musician.
7. Siren
Get ready for a dive into the supernatural. The coastal town of Bristol Cove, known for its legend of once being home to mermaids, is turned upside down when a mysterious young woman appears and begins wreaking havoc upon the small fishing town. She’s looking for her captured sister, who was abducted at the hands of the local military. Siren boasts a 97% score amongst Google users.
8. The Good Fight
A spinoff of The Good Wife, The Good Fight will tickle lovers of legal series as it centres around a black law firm in Chicago, which Diane Lockhart has made her new home after getting kicked out of her former firm following a financial scam.
