It can be pretty confusing what to buy and what is not necessary as a new mum. These 8 items were my life saver.
Items I Totally Loved
1. Car seat
This is probably the best investment I made in baby things. I could take it out of the car and put my baby inside so I didn’t have to worry about carry a 10kg 8 months old baby about.
2. Baby Carrier
It is just super convenient keeping my baby strapped when we go shopping or for our evening walks. The carrier takes the stress off your arms.
3. Breast Pump!
My breast pump really gave me a breather. I simply pump during the day for night feeds so I didn’t have to stay up for hours at night breastfeeding.
4. Bottle Warmer
After pumping, I refrigerate. When it is time to feed at night, I simply heat up the milk with my electric bottle warmer. Easy to use, super fast and very efficient!
5. Diaper Bag
I have two! A small one for quick trips and a big one for a full day’s journey. I have a list of items that are always pre-packed so I just pick up and go!
6. Body Suits
I can’t over emphasize the importance of body suit to a newborn. Bodysuits, sleep suits and overalls are basically what your baby will live in for the first 6 months of life. Stock up!
7. Baby Bouncer
What is life without a baby bouncer? Baby bouncer and swing is an effective way to keep your baby happy, entertained and active for hours.
8. Tommee Tippee Bottles
My Sonshine was quite picky with bottles but he loved his Tommee Tippee…a lot!The teats of the bottles are so close to the structure and texture of a nipple making it so close to mamas breasts and irresistible.
