Keeping your toddler busy can seem very complicated, but with a little creativity and fun items, you will pull through just fine!
Here are fun activities from Small Atelier you can explore ranging from games, to arts and crafts.
These Eco-friendly, toxin-free toys and educational materials from Small Atelier are made with wood and sustainable materials. These materials are engaging activities that will help build a child’s language skills, social skills, imagination and physical development.
1. Playground Toy
I particularly like that this set models a really playground. With a slide, swing, climbing frame, sandbox and digging tools complete. This is definitely an absolute delight!
2. The Doctor Set
This pretend play set is the real deal! It is a great learning resource. Did you know? Pretend play shows a sign of “symbolic thinking”. Encourage your little one’s play activities with this complete Doctor set!
3. Balancing Cactus
Do you remember Jenga? This is very close to it and requires an equal level of concentration and focus. To play, you have to choose which pieces to Add to the Cactus without crashing it all. This helps children develop basic math foundations through play.
4. Stacking Rings
This is one of my favourite sets from Small Atelier. It helps kids understand shapes, colours and sizes by stacking the rings. Fortunately, this learning toy is mostly reasonably cheap still provides essential stimulation all little ones need.
5. Makeup Set
Your princess can pretend to makeup on her face or yours! lol with this set. This set encourages imagination and creative play and guess what? It is Mess-free!
6. Tie Up Shoe
This is my very best! It teaches children how to lace up and tie their shoes! We are currently at this stage with my Sonshine and I will definitely be getting one of these for him just so we don’t take so much time when we are getting ready for school while struggling with the shoe lace. The struggle!
When your child engages in pretend(or dramatic) play, he is actively experimenting with the social and emotional roles of life.
