Beautiful You: 5 Post Pregnancy Tips That Will Help You Glow Up
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

No matter how prepared you are, Pregnancy and childbirth are major life events that will change you completely. Having your bath can become a luxury once you have your baby. It takes being deliberate to observe your me time and pamper yourself.

Follow these beauty tips after delivery to change your look from dead tired to drop dead gorgeous!

1. Get Help

You need to build you a support system. Your partner, mum, neighbours, friends, siblings can all be part of your support system.

2. Sleep, When You Can

People say sleep when the baby sleeps, that isn’t very realistic. However, you need to be intentional about it. Sleep deprivation will make you end up looking worn and tired. Try pumping breast milk for someone else to help with feeding your baby while you get some rest.

3. Dress Well

I know this is the last thing on your mind but you really have to look good for you. I don’t mean dress up with a full face makeup. I jus mean clean, fresh and good fit. No wrappers! lol.

4. Be Intentional

Drink enough water, eat well, stay hydrated, exfoliate, and moisturize. Your skin will thank you for it.

5. Manage Your Dark Circles

Thanks to lack of sleep. Say no to dark circles by minimizing the quantity of water you drink at bed time, use a thick pillow and apply a dab of concealer if you are going out. It will only take a minute. You can do it.
