Question: How To Dress A Newborn Baby

My Mum always clothes my baby in multiple cloth layers. I sometimes feel she cries because she is feeling hot but I am a first-time mum so I am trying to be careful not to get her sick.

Dear Mum,

It totally depends on the weather, and where you are. Always dress your baby to keep her warm. However, be careful to avoid heat stroke. As a guide, dress your baby in the same number of layers you are wearing, plus one extra layer for warmth.

-Mama Matron.
