I sat with a group of women yesterday and one of them goes; your baby’s hair is too dry! You should add some oil!
Out of courtesy, I proceeded to explain that my ‘Sonshine’ has a boil at the back of his head and I was advised by the Matron to keep oil minimal… Just as I stopped talking, another mum said well then you shouldn’t add oil at all! It will worsen it.
Before I knew it, both mums were arguing intensely on who was right while I looked on.
The lesson I learned from that was, do your thing your way. As much as you want people’s opinion based on their personal experiences, be careful not to take it all in.
