6 Hilarious Things About Motherhood (That Nobody Ever Tells You)

Have you ever been in any situation and you wonder why nobody ever told you that comes with the motherhood package? LOL!

These are the 5 most hilarious things (to me!) about motherhood nobody ever told me about.

1. Mummy Brain is real!

You have heard of pregnancy brain, right? We all used it as an excuse at some point in pregnancy to get away with things we forgot to do. Lol. But it’s real! and so is mummy brain. You know mummy brain has set in when you forget to light the gas but expect the water to boil or when you are looking for your phone, with your phone’s flashlight!

2. You’ll become a poo inspector

You read that right. One look at your baby’s poo can tell you if your baby is teething, has diarrhea, or constipated. You’ll find yourself subconsciously inspecting poop. SMH.  😂

3. Google becomes your best friend

It’s not out of place to find yourself googling at 3:00 am in the morning why your baby is sleeping so much and the next few hours, you are back on Google to ask why your baby won’t’ sleep. 😂

4. Your sleeping at night lies in the hands of whether you burp your baby or not

Okay, this wasn’t so funny. The struggle to burp and get the gas out ehn 😂. Burping helps your baby pass out trapped gas during feeding and if the gas is not let out, your baby will be uncomfortable which obviously will lead to crying and sleepless night for you as the mum. Better avoid it!

5. That you want to be with and away from your baby at the same time!

This is hard! You really want some me time. Just to close your eyes and catch a breathe but you still don’t want to let go of the special time with your baby. I wasn’t prepared for this one! 😂

6. You’ll look forward to ‘bathroom time’

Anything to get some time alone! That’s even if you make it to the bathroom alone. LOL.

What’s the most hilarious thing about motherhood nobody ever told you? Join the conversation! Please drop a comment. I’ll be on the look out!

Love,

Tosin
