While Dads can’t breastfeed, there are so many other ways dads can help out with breastfeeding.
Here are a few ways Dads can contribute to the family unit and relieve the new mum some of the stress.
- Dads can help with night feeds. Mom can pump breastmilk and freeze while Dads handle the night feeds or rotate a feeding shift with mum.
- Dads can help with diaper change and baths while mum is resting.
- Dads can bring food and snacks for the mum while breastfeeding.
- Dads can help with house chores, run errands, cook, clean, and do laundry.
